Kirtland Officers' Spouses' Club (KOSC) Web site
Welcome to Albuquerque and Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB). Albuquerque is New Mexico's largest city and offers a wonderful mix of old and new cultures. Its blend of Native Indian, Spanish and American characteristics makes for a unique city. Historic Old Town, Nob Hill, Sandia Peak Tramway, Albuquerque Little Theater, and the Santa Fe Opera are just a few interesting locations. New Mexican cuisine is distinctive and enjoyable.
Membership in the KOSC is open to both husbands and wives of active duty, warrant, retired, and reserve military officers including DOD and DOE civilians in a grade equivalent to a commissioned officer rank. If you would like to see what our club is like before joining, you are welcome to attend one of our monthly functions without being a member. The KOSC has monthly functions to meet, make new friends, and discuss business of our organization. We also have many ongoing activities for the varying interests of our members. Among these are Mah Jongg, Scrap Booking, Bunco, and a Book Club. There is also the opportunity to volunteer your time in the KOSC Thrift Shop and on various positions and committees of the KOSC Board.
 The KOSC is a 501(c)3 non-profit association. Our specific purpose is to raise funds to sponsor charitable, educational, and welfare projects at Kirtland Air Force Base and the local community. We make numerous cash donations throughout the year to KAFB, community organizations and national 501(c)3 charities that fit our purpose. We al
so award college scholarships to qualified military dependents. We are able to accomplish this via our various fundraisers and profits from our Thrift Shop.
